The BVB wide player showed manager Peter Bosz just what he has been missing after returning from four months on the sidelines

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Raphael Guerreiro made his first appearance in four months on Tuesday, and has shown that he is back to his best with an exceptional goal in training.

The Portugal international missed the start of the season due to a broken foot, and finally made his 2017-18 debut as BVB cruised to a 5-0 DFB-Pokal win over Magdeburg, coming off the bench in the second-half.

He showed new Dortmund boss Peter Bosz just what he has been missing with an amazing finish in training on Wednesday, spinning around to back-heel a cross past the goalkeeper and into the net.

After the win over Magdeburg, Guerreiro expressed his delight to be back, but admits that he needs to work more on his fitness to be in contention for a starting spot in the team.

"It was a difficult time," he said of his absence to BVBtotal. "But I'm very happy to have finally made my comeback. I feel good again now.

"At this point I would like to express my thanks to the club staff, who gave me great support.

"Of course, I'm not yet at 100 per cent in terms of running, but that will improve bit by bit. I need to build it back up.

"Nonetheless, I will now try to be there when the coach needs me. I'm very happy to have played again. I felt good and everything went well on the pitch."
