Saturday was not a great day for Melbourne City's Tim Cahill.
The former Everton star saw his side take a 3-0 beating from A-League leaders Sydney FC and to make matters worse, took a pretty nasty cut on his head for his troubles.

A hard collision in the 70th minute left Cahill with a gash and blood dripping down onto his jersey.
Melbourne City remain third in the A-League after the loss, though level on points with Brisbane Roar.
