TEAM NEWS: Terry starts Chelsea farewell against Sunderland

John Terry has been handed the opportunity to say his farewells to Chelsea by starting the Premier League champion's final match of the season against Sunderland.

He will make his 717th appearance for the club that he joined when he was 14-years-old. After the game, Chelsea will be presented with the Premier League trophy, which will be jointly lifted by the club captain and Gary Cahill.

Terry wrote in his final programme notes ahead of the match: "These are my last captain's notes at Chelsea. Even writing that is difficult for me, but I can't tell you how happy I am to be going out at the Bridge with a title celebration."
