    RB Leipzig have insisted that Arsenal-linked midfielder Christopher Nkunku will still be at Red Bull Arena for the 2022-22 season.

    The Gunners have been tipped to launch a summer bid for the 24-year-old, whose current contract expires in 2024.

    However, Leipzig managing director Oliver Mintzlaff has told Sky Germany: "He [Nkunku] will also play with us next season because of course he is a very important player.

    "In football, nothing is ever certain, but that's our plan."
