Rogic set for £4m Qatar move


Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic is nearing a £4 million move to an unnamed Qatari club, reports the Daily Mail. 

Rogic has become a fan-favourite at Celtic since arriving in 2013, making nearly 200 appearances for the club.

But the 27-year-old has fallen out of favour under manager Neil Lennon and looks ready to move on.

Man City show more Grealish interest than Man Utd


Manchester City have shown more interest in Aston Villa star Jack Grealish than Manchester United, according to The Athletic.

Grealish has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and is understood to be willing to depart Villa this summer. 

But Pep Guardiola's side could swoop in late to land the 24-year-old attacker.

Leeds, Everton and Chelsea eye Romero move


Leeds, Everton and Chelsea are all interested in a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero, reports ESPN.

Romero could be the odd man out at Old Trafford with David de Gea in place and Dean Henderson returning from a loan spell at Sheffield United.

The Argentine could be allowed to leave in search of a starting role after backing De Gea up during five seasons with Man Utd.

Sheffield confirm £18.5m Ramsdale signing


Sheffield United have signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from Bournemouth for a reported £18.5 million ($24m).

The 22-year-old is expected to fill in for Dean Henderson, who will return to parent club Manchester United after two years on loan with the Blades.

Leicester eye Nolan move


Leicester are considering a move for Ryan Nolan, who is currently with Arezzo in the Italian third tier, according to The Sun.

The 21-year-old defender came up through the ranks at Inter but was let go before making a senior appearance.

Nolan has represented Ireland at various youth levels. 

Galaxy sign Gonzalez on loan from Benfica


The LA Galaxy have signed winger Yony González on loan from Benfica for the rest of the 2020 MLS season.

The 26-year-old has also represented Atletico Junior in his native Colombia and Brazilian side Fluminense.

“We are excited to add Yony to our squad and think he can be a valuable player for us,” said LA Galaxy head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto.

“He is a player that is in the prime of his career and has a lot of technical ability on the ball. We feel that he will give our team a spark on the offensive side.

AC Milan confident of Ibrahimovic extension


AC Milan believe that they can bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic back for another year, according to Sky Sports.

Ibrahimovic signed for the club in January, joining on a half-year contract.

But the club now believes that Ibrahimovic will sign on through June 2021 as the striker wants to remain in Serie A

Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has insisted that Ronald Koeman will not be the club's manager if he is elected.

Font says that he would look to bring in Xavi should he replace Josep Maria Bartomeu as president.

United remain confident they will be able to negotiate a transfer fee for the Borussia Dortmund star, but they must clear other hurdles first. 

Though Dortmund's deadline of August 10 to complete a deal has passed, United are pushing ahead with their plans to sign the England winger.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is hoping to bring Gareth Bale back to the club this summer, reports Cuatro

Bale's playing time at Real Madrid dipped in the second half of 2019-20, and manager Zinedine Zidane is no fan of the Wales international. 

With two years remaining on his current contract, Bale could be ready to move back to the club where he starred from 2007 to 2013.

Steffen to stay at Man City to challenge Ederson


United States international goalkeeper Zack Steffen will return to Manchester City next season with the intention of fighting Ederson for his number one spot.

Steffen impressed on loan with Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 2019-20 campaign, though his season was curtailed by knee injuries. 

With Claudio Bravo heading to Real Betis, Steffen, 25, is ready to step in as Ederson's new deputy.

Leeds in for Rangers star Kent


Leeds United are preparing to make a £10 million ($13m) bid for Rangers winger Ryan Kent, according to The Sun.

White boss Marcelo Bielsa is a huge fan of the 23-year-old, who he tried to sign twice while the player was still at Liverpool.

Rangers are reluctant to let any of their key players leave so would only consider selling Kent for big money, meaning Leeds will probably have to return with a larger offer.

Wicky not interested in summer signings


Chicago Fire boss Raphael Wicky says his focus is on the current squad and not new signings this summer.

The former Switzerland international was appointed Fire head coach in December during a winter that saw 17 new players arrive. With coronavirus restricting his side to just five matches so far in 2020, Wicky says he hasn't had time to properly analyse the players at his disposal.

“We always have our eyes open in the transfer window, but we want to give these players a chance to play," he said. "We want to give this team a chance, see how they play in the next three months and how the players develop."

Van de Beek, Depay and Keane on Koeman's shortlist


New Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman wants to make the signings of Donny van de Beek, Memphis Depay and Michael Keane his priority, according to Ok Diario.

The Dutchman was confirmed as Blaugranas boss on Wednesday and has already set out his intentions to strengthen every aspect of the squad. 

Koeman knows all about Ajax midfielder Van de Beek from his time as Netherlands boss, while he spent £30 million ($39.6m) to sign Keane from Burnley while Everton manager in 2017.

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Brazilian teenager Reinier on a two-season loan from Real Madrid.

As reported by Goal earlier this week, an agreement has been reached between the two clubs which will see the 18-year-old spend the 2020-21 and 2021-22 campaigns at Westfalenstadion.

His arrival could revive speculation about Jadon Sancho's future with Dortmund, who continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United.

Henderson set for bumper new Man Utd deal


Manchester United are ready to offer goalkeeper Dean Henderson a new four-year contract worth around £100,000 ($132,000) a week, according to The Sun.

Henderson impressed out on loan at Sheffield United last season but is now back at Old Trafford and ready to challenge David de Gea for the No.1 shirt.

Former Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has tipped Thiago Alcantara to adapt well to the Premier League, but has cautioned that the Bayern Munich star would have work to do to become a starter at Liverpool.
