Liam Millar has joined Basel from Liverpool on a permanent transfer, <a href="https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/academy/437415-liam-millar-joins-fc-basel-in-permanent-transfer" target="_blank">the Reds have confirmed.</a> The 21-year-old Canadian international made his Liverpool first team debut in February 2020, but also spent time away from the club on loan at Kilmarnock and Charlton and was on the fringes of Jurgen Klopp's squad. Millar moves to Switzerland&nbsp;in a £1.3million (€1.5m/$2m) deal, with the temptations of European football and competing for top flight honours seeing him turn down interest from the EFL and MLS.
