Bordeaux set price for PSG target

Bordeaux have announced their demands for Jules Kounde amid interest from Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain, according to le10sport.

The 20-year-old centre-back Kounde will require at least €30 million (£27m/$37m), which may be too high a fee for the Parisians.

But PSG boss Thomas Tuchel wants to employ a three centre-back system next season, making an addition necessary and it is likely the two clubs will continue to talk.

Man Utd want two big signings by pre-season

Manchester United are targeting two big signings this month ahead of the club's pre-season, according to the Sun.

The Red Devils want a massive overhaul of the squad and sources tell the publication to expect two new players to arrive by July 1.

Those sources claim to be confident over current negotiations and said as many as four new players could join by the time of the club's pre-season tour.

Real Madrid and Lyon still negotiating Mendy deal

Real Madrid and Lyon are still negotiating a deal for full-back Ferland Mendy, according to le10sport.

It was reported a medical issue with Mendy's hip had put a potential move to Madrid in question, but the teams are negotiating the transfer fee.

Lyon want a fee greater than €55 million (£49m/$62m) for Mendy, which is holding up talks.

Arsenal reject loan proposal for Saliba

Arsenal have rejected a potential move for Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba over a required loan-back to the Ligue 1 club, according to the Sun.

Saint-Etienne are ready to sell the 18-year-old and are hoping for a £25 million transfer fee, as well as the ability to keep Saliba for the 2019-20 season.

Arsenal have refused those terms and though they remain interested in Saliba, the Gunners could lose out to Premier League teams amenable to those terms.

PSG may return for Everton's Gueye

Paris Saint-Germain may return for Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye this summer, according to le10sport.

Gueye missed out on a desired deadline day move to the Ligue 1 champions in January, but retains the interest of PSG coach Thomas Tuchel.

Everton remain willing to sell Gueye, but want a fee of around €35 million (£s;31m/$40m), but PSG tend to be slower in their transfer activity, so all sides are remaining patient.

Matuidi 'really happy' at Juve as contract talks continue

The 36-year-old defender left Everton this week and Celtic are looking to follow up on a failed attempt to bring Jagielka in this past January.

Jagielka could draw interest from a number of suitors looking for veteran leadership, but Celtic are expected to be in the mix.

Schalke close in on Toffees defender

Schalke are leading the chase to sign Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny on loan, report the Liverpool Echo.

Neymar rejects Real Madrid move

Brazil star favours Barca return

Both Real president Florentino Perez and general director Jose Angel Sanchez have tried to persuade the Paris Saint-Germain forward to move to the Santiago Bernabeu without success.

Instead, the Brazilian would rather return to the Camp Nou where it is believed the majority of the Barca dressing room would welcome his return.

Maddison wants Foxes stay

James Maddison has told Leicester he wants to stay at the club despite interest from Premier League rivals, report The Sun.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with a £60million ($76.2m) bid for the midfielder.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a fine debut season with the Foxes, scoring seven goals and chipping in a further seven assists since joining from Norwich 12 months ago.

The Mali international returned for a second spell at the club on a short-term deal in January.

Maguire prefers City move over United

Manchester United have enquired about Leicester's Harry Maguire but the defender would prefer to move to their rivals Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.

Maguire is once again in-demand this summer and Leicester would likely demand a record fee for a defender to any club interested in signing him.

The 26-year-old told reporters earlier this week that his sole focus is currently England and their Nations League campaign, though it's thought he would rather move to the Etihad than Old Trafford if the choice was presented to him.

Tielemans flattered by interest

Youri Tielemans has admitted he is flattered by interest being shown in him by Manchester United and Tottenham, and says his future will be decided “in the next few weeks.”

Tielemans enjoyed a productive half-season spell on loan at Leicester City from Monaco this term, with the Foxes also keen to tie up a permanent deal for the midfielder.

Everton propose swap deal for Digne

Digne enjoyed a fine debut season at Goodison Park since joining for £18million ($22.8m) from Barcelona last summer, claiming the club's Player of the Season award.

The Toffees value Digne at least double that amount now and would only consider a bid from Spurs if England full-back Rose was included in the deal.
