He has told Goal that his reason for leaving the jobs (Tusker and KPL) is to get ample time for his personal businesses.

“I have resigned from Tusker chairmanship and that affects KPL position too. It requires a lot of time to be the chairman of KPL and I have realized that it interferes with my my businesses, so I decided to leave the job.”

It comes at a time when KPL are in a hard tussle against Football Kenya Federation over league composition and Club Licensing rule. Goal understands Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has been elevated to head KPL.
