Colm Toal’s second innings in Indian football didn’t last long as just three weeks since he first arrived as the technical director of Minerva, the former All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) technical director has already left for USA in the wee hours of Monday.

This was after Toal, who has been credited with the development of players such as Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Jeje Lalpekhlua and more, wasn’t pleased in the manner in which Minerva was being run especially with the owner Ranjit Bajaj allegedly having a say in the team selection.

It was after the club’s win over Mumbai FC that Toal and Bajaj allegedly had an altercation which led to the former opting to quit with immediate effect.
