Hazard or Aubameyang: Who will decide Arsenal and Chelsea blockbuster?

No other Premier League players have been more important to their teams than Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

And the two star attackers will square off during Monday (AEDT's) London derby between the two teams at Emirates Stadium.

Aubameyang has single-handedly earned 12 league points for the Gunners with his goals, while Hazard has accumulated 10 for Chelsea - with no other players getting more for their teams.

With Chelsea in fourth spot on 47 points and Arsenal sitting in the position below on 41, the match is important for Unai Emery's men to close the gap and get back into Champions League contention.

Both teams are highly aware of Manchester United lurking in sixth position on the same points as the Gunners, having won their their last six Premier League games.

Statistics point to a Chelsea win with the Gunners winning just one of their last 14 league matches against the Blues - a 3-0 home victory in September 2016.

This season, Chelsea's 10 Premier League clean sheets is only bettered by Liverpool (13) while only relegation threatened Fulham (2) have kept less shutouts than Arsenal's three.

However Unai Emery's side did manage to go 22 games unbeaten this campaign and are certainly capable of troubling the Blues defence.

It will be interesting to see whether Emery opts to start just Aubameyang or pairs the Gabonese striker with Alexandre Lacazette.
