Fans' Asian Player of the Week: Al Hilal's Mohammed Al Burayk

The Saudi Arabian's display in the second leg of ACL quarterfinals has found favour with the fans who have voiced their approval..

Al Hilal's Mohammed Al Burayk has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's heartbreaking loss to Urawa Reds in the AFC Champions League final second leg between the two teams. 

The 25-year-old was faultless throughout, winning 100 per cent of his tackles and and aerial duels. He also won 80 per cent of his duels, apart from creating four chances for his teammates in an enterprising performance. .

Also in the fray for the honour were Urawa Red Diamonds' Yuki Abe and Al Hilal's Osama Hawsawa - both of whom were impressive in the games this past week.

The fans made their voice count asMohammed Al Burayk received 83% of the votes while Abe was backed by 17% of the voters.
