Former Gor Mahia defender Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma is now set to take part in the 2017 Georgian Premier League with his new club FC Kolkheti Poti.

The sensational left-back, who was a pillar at K’Ogalo in 2016 during his premier league debut, received his ITC on Friday, two days to their first league match, which will be against Dinamo Tbilisi at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena.

Speaking to Goal via Skype, the Kakamega High School alumnus asserted that he is psyched up having adapted to the European weather and that his main ambition is to sharpen his skills as he works for positive results at Kolkheti.

“First of all, I’m happy to receive my ITC; an authority for me to feature in Georgian league. Second, I’m here because of merit and my aim is to continue being focused in the career. I want to do my job as a player and shine for the team so as to achieve our collective target here. I can’t wait to set foot on the pitch for our first match which will be played tomorrow (Sunday).

The youngster joined the club, where he has been handed jersey number 12, in January on a three-year deal.
