Deportivo La Coruna v Barcelona Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Barcelona head into this weekend's fixture at Deportivo La Coruna knowing that a win will see them crowned champions of La Liga.

The Blaugrana could even win the title before kick off if Atletico Madrid fail to beat Alaves earlier in the day, which would take any pressure off Ernesto Valverde's men.

Depor are all but relegated, with the Galicians nine points from safety with 15 left to play for, and the atmosphere is likely to be pretty somber at the Estadio Riazor.

The hosts recorded a shock victory in this fixture last season although another win seems highly unlikely and dabblebet price them at 8/1 (9.00) to pick up three points again.

Team news

Barcelona have Sergi Roberto suspended for the game after his red card against Celta Vigo in their last La Liga match, but otherwise Valverde has no injury concerns ahead of the game.

Deportivo manager Clarence Seedorf could be without first choice centre-back Sidnei who is a doubt, while Sulley Muntari is also likely to miss out.

Deportivo have been disastrous at the back this season, conceding 65 goals - the second highest-total in the division.

They have also been extremely wasteful in front of goal and with just 32 strikes to their name, Depor are unlikely to be able to cause Barcelona any problems on Sunday.

Earlier this season the Catalans won 4-0 at the Camp Nou against the La Coruna outfit, and a similarly convincing victory looks to be on the cards this weekend.

Tips and predictions

Barcelona are offered at 6/4 (2.50) to win the game with a -2 handicap and that looks like an excellent option.

Bolder punters should be interested in the price of 12/5 (3.40) for the Catalans to be leading by at least two goals at the break, while backing over 3.5 goals in the game at 4/5 (1.80) is also a solid selection.
