Chelsea are yet to receive a formal enquiry from Bournemouth in regards to a loan offer for captain John Terry, according to sources close to Goal.
Reports in England had suggested that the 36-year-old could be drafted in to replace Nathan Ake at Bournemouth, whose loan spell was cut short by Blues boss Antonio Conte this month. Terry, however, has had no offers to make the move to the south-coast club.
Terry has struggled to find a place in the Chelsea side since their switch to a 3-4-3 formation, then was sent off in the recent FA Cup meeting with Peterborough United, leading to a one-match suspension.
The match against League One Posh was the skipper's first start since October 26 and it also marked the return of his defensive partner from last season, Kurt Zouma.
Terry has been at Chelsea for over 20 years and he is regarded as one of the club's greatest ever players, but he is entering the last six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea's club policy dictates that players over 30 only get one-year deals, too, so Terry will be due for talks over his contract in the coming months - if he is to stay.
