Betting Tips for Today: West Bromwich Albion capable of leaving QPR with three points

West Bromwich Albion are firmly in the hunt for promotion to the Premier League this season. Sitting fourth in the Championship table, Darren Moore's men can move to within one point of the top two places with a victory over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.

The home side have endured a rocky patch of late. While their FA Cup dream came to an end against Watford over the weekend, Steve McClaren's men have also lost their previous five league games.

While the hosts still still sit 10 points clear of the relegation places, a failure to produce a positive result in the near future could could see them sucked into trouble as the home stretch of the campaign approaches.

The visitors certainly look like a tempting selection for this game given their record on the road. If West Brom win at Loftus Road they will move to 33 points from 17 away matches, leapfrogging leaders Norwich City into top spot on that metric. Interestingly, it's been at home where the West Midlands outfit have failed to produce consistently.

After opening the season with some disappointing results, Moore's side have turned things around emphatically away from the Hawthorns. Since mid-November the Baggies have played eight Championship games on the road, winning seven of them including the weekend's win at Aston Villa.

Having also beaten both Norwich and Sheffield United on the road this term, the 11/10 (2.10) about another away win here looks an appealing option for punters.

QPR have been able to take plenty of points off the teams in the bottom half of the division but against the better sides they've largely struggled, even with home advantage.

The R's have played hosted nine of the teams currently ranked 12th or higher in the Championship at Loftus Road and lost six of those games.

Considering West Brom also won the reverse fixture between the pair 7-1 earlier in the campaign, the visitors will surely fancy the chances of adding another away win to their tally at odds of 11/10 (2.10) with 888Sport.
