Barcelona v Athletic Bilbao Betting Special: Back another moment of Messi magic

Last week's Copa del Rey showdown in Bilbao has set up tonight's second leg perfectly with Athletic's 2-1 win at San Mames meaning Barcelona know they must score to stay in the competition.

Of course, the Catalans almost always score at home anyway, meaning that the visitors will not be sitting back and will surely look for an away goal themselves to complicate matters for the trophy holders.

In the two matches they have played so far in 2017, Barcelona have scored two goals and both of those strikes have been direct free-kicks from Lionel Messi. Both goals have been extremely significant for the Blaugrana, underlining Messi's vital importance to the team.

It is, therefore, unsurprising to find him leading the way with Luis Suarez in Paddy Power's goalscorers market where both players are offered at 4/11 (1.36) to score anytime and at 5/2 (3.50) to open the scoring. Messi, meanwhile, is offered at 8/15 (1.53) to find the back of the net in a Barcelona win, while the price of 6/4 (2.50) for him to score two or more looks appealing.

Elsewhere for Barcelona, Neymar is offered at 8/13 (1.62) to score his first goal since 19th October, while Gerard Pique - who scored the last time these sides met at the Camp Nou - can be backed at 5/1 (6.00) to do so once more.

For the visitors, Aritz Aduriz brought us a healthy winner in the first leg as we backed him to get on the scoresheet and the Spain international is offered at 11/4 (3.75) to add to his growing tally of goals against the Blaugrana.

Fellow forward Inaki Williams also found the back of the net at San Mames and the pacy 22-year-old is offered at 4/1 (5.00) to score, as he did the last time he visited the Catalan capital.

Williams, though, has been suffering with flu and we will have to wait and see whether or not he features for the visitors. Definitely missing will be Raul Garcia who is suspended following his red card in the first leg, which could mean an opportunity for Iker Muniain who is offered at 9/2 (5.50) to score.
