Betting: France drift in Euro 2016 betting despite victory

While they have picked up six points from their opening two group games, France have hardly impressed at Euro 2016 thus far and NetBet have pushed Les Bleus out from 3/1 (4.0) to 7/2 (4.50) in their outright winner market.

Dimitri Payet scored his second goal of Euro 2016 in injury time and is 13/2 (7.50) to be the tournament's top scorer and several firms have cut the 29-year-old into 4/1 (5.0) for Player of the Tournament, albeit France's performances will need to improve as they enter the knockout stages if they are to make further progress.

Plenty of the big guns have failed to fire in France and the top scorer market looks very open with Cristiano Ronaldo an industry best 17/2 (9.50) shot after drawing a blank against Iceland. Thomas Muller looks tough to back at 9/1 (10.0) given his role behind Mario Gotze in the Germany team and Olivier Giroud has drifted to 19/2 (10.50).

Goal

Grazianno Pelle is 14/1 (15.0) while Arkadiusz Milik, who was impressive in Poland's 1-0 win over Northern Ireland, could be a spot of value at 35/1 (36.0) with NetBet.

With teams seemingly intent on focusing on marking Robert Lewandowkski (20/1) out of the game, the free-scoring Ajax frontman could be set to profit from more space in the final third.
