Belgium rightly head into Euro 2020 as one of the favourites as they look to win a major tournament for the first time in their history.
The Red Devils have been at the top of the FIFA World Ranking since September 2018 and after finishing third in the World Cup three years ago, going even further will be the goal for Roberto Martinez.
How did Belgium qualify for Euro 2020?
Belgium barely even broke a sweat in qualifying, topping Group I with 10 wins from 10 games, scoring 40 goals in the process and conceding just three.
All 10 victories were by at least two goals as even second-placed Russia were beaten comfortably both home and away.
Romelu Lukaku top scored with seven goals despite only playing five games thanks to injury and rotation, whilst Eden Hazard netted five and Michy Batshuayi and Kevin De Bruyne each chipped in with four.
Belgium's European Championship history
This is only the sixth time out of 16 European Championships that Belgium have qualified, with two of those coming automatically by virtue of hosting the tournament, but they do actually have a reasonable record on this stage.
As well as finishing third in 1972, albeit in a finals tournament of only four teams, the Red Devils lost the 1980 final 2-1 against West Germany and reached the quarter-finals at Euro 2016 before going down 3-1 to Wales.
Belgium's tally of nine goals in that tournament five years ago was the third-highest whilst Eden Hazard's contribution of four assists led the way in the playmaking stakes.
