Arsenal are watching Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan, according to the teenager's agent.

Ozcan is currently contracted to Stuttgart until 2019, having signed a four-year-deal with the club. Although born in Germany, he is a Turkey underage international, having played at Under-21 level for his country.

The midfielder's impressive first full season in Germany has seen him attract the attention of many top teams, with agent Baris Yukselsen confirming that Arsenal are tracking him.

“Many top clubs are interested at Berkay," Yukselsen told football.london.

“Arsenal has Berkay on its list, but at the moment he is focusing on Stuttgart’s resurgence.”

Earlier this week, Arsenal scout Jurgen Kost confirmed that the club were monitoring a young Turkish player, which now looks to be Ozcan.

“I have been scouting a Turkish kid in Germany,” he told Turkish-Football.com. “I watched him two-three weeks ago, he plays in central midfield.

“I won’t give his name yet but he is very talented and we are considering signing him.”

Stuttgart are looking to return to German's top flight, and lead the 2. Bundesliga by two points from Union Berlin with 10 games remaining.
