The 24-year-old has been in Turin since completing a transfer from Lille in the summer of 2023 – with that move reuniting him with international colleague McKennie. Both have endured mixed fortunes over the course of the last 18 months.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
They are, however, eager to help push one another to greater heights – with no special treatment handed out in training between fellow Americans. Weah has told Sky Sport Italia: “We are all working towards one goal, but I like to push and tackle him in training. It’s all love for my brother, I am just happy to share the field with him every day.”
WHAT WEAH SAID
Weah played the full 90 minutes for Juve in their 2-0 derby win over Torino, with McKennie stepping off the bench. Weah has been used as a wing-back at times, but is now being deployed further up the field. He added on playing a position that suits his game: “I play a more attacking role now. I am a forward. I am happy both for me and for the team. I prefer to start in a wider role, but still attacking.”

WHAT NEXT?
Weah is up to four goals for the season, through 11 appearances in all competitions, having only found the target on one occasion in his debut campaign. He is now looking to add to a haul of 41 senior caps for his country.
