Wayne Rooney fishing tattoo! England face foe with bizarre body art as Man Utd fan Topi Keskinen forms part of Finland squad at Wembley

The Three Lions will be back in UEFA Nations League action on Tuesday when playing host to Finnish visitors. Lee Carsley remains at the helm on an interim basis and oversaw a 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland in his first game as temporary boss.

England will be confident of picking up back-to-back wins when returning to home soil, but will need to keep an eye on Aberdeen new boy Topi Keskinen. The 21-year-old has been called up to the senior Finland squad for the first time – having previously taken in eight appearances for his country at U21 level.

He has already been among the goals in Scotland this season, after becoming an £860,000 record signing for the Dons, and knows all about English football as a big fan of Manchester United and their all-time leading goalscorer.

Keskinen has said of a sporting odd body art that pays homage to his love of fishing and former England captain Rooney: “To be honest, it is not such a wonderful tattoo because I designed it myself. It has become a bigger deal than I thought it would, especially since I moved to Scotland. I have always liked the style of British football. If I get tattoos, I want them to mean something. I was a United fan as a kid and also Rooney - and I also love fishing.”

Keskinen is now looking to emulate his idol by becoming a goalscorer at Wembley Stadium. He will be taking part in a game that sees current England skipper Harry Kane reach 100 caps for his country – becoming the Three Lions’ 10th centurion and first since Rooney in 2014.
