    Real Madrid-bound Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick got a rough welcome to the Brazil national team as he was sent flying by a tackle from Arsenal defender Gabriel during a training session on Wednesday.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The 17-year-old received his maiden national team call-up for the Selecao's upcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Colombia and Argentina. The attacker has been rewarded for his consistent show for Palmeiras this season as he scored nine goals in 27 Brazilian Serie A outings.

    Lost Blancos have already reached an agreement to sign Endrick in December 2022. He will join the club next summer after he turns 18.
