Hilal went on to score twice late on, and the Portugal superstar was left fuming at the end of the game.

Nassr's defeat leaves the club seven points adrift of Hilal, and Ronaldo clearly felt that he needed to put his point across to the Hilal powerbroker. The legendary forward has scored 15 goals in 14 league games this season and felt that he should have scored his 16th on Friday evening.

He is going to have to spearhead a remarkable run of form if Nassr are to make up the significant gap to Hilal that has already developed. They are next in action against Istiklol in the AFC Champions League later this week.
