With the scoreline 0-0, Tigres Femenil star Lizbeth Ovalle produced arguably one of the goals of the year. The midfielder attempted and scored an audacious inverted scorpion kick from a Jennifer Hermoso cross to give her side a 1-0 lead with less than twenty minutes left on the clock. Receiving a cross from Jenni Hermoso, Ovalle, with her back to goal, executed a stunning backheel flick that looped over the goalkeeper and under the crossbar. The goal proved to be decisive and a key moment as the game as Tigres eventually walked away as 2-0 winners.

"I don't even know how I did it," Ovalle said after the game as per the Associated Press. "I haven't even seen it."

It has fans and other football fans clamoring for her to win the FIFA Puskas Award after her effort.

The win sends Tigres UANL Femenil into fourth place on the Liga MX Femenil table, over Monterrey, but they still remain eight points behind league leaders Pachuca. The fourth place side face Necaxa Feminil on the road before returning home to face Santos Laguna at the Estadio Universitario.
