Brazil international Antony headed into that contest full of confidence after rediscovering his spark on the back of a winter transfer window loan switch to Spain. Goals and assists have been flowing for the South American forward.

He saw Betis take the lead on Polish soil against Chelsea, as the Liga outfit sought to claim their first European title, but the Blues came roaring back in the second half to secure a 4-1 win and complete their record-breaking continental trophy collection.

Sancho, who made his own move away from Old Trafford at the start of the 2024-25 campaign, was among those on target in what could be his final game for Chelsea - with some big decisions needing to be made on his future.

As Antony cut a forlorn figure at the final whistle, with emotion spilling out, Sancho made a point of consoling a familiar face while the rest of the Chelsea players celebrated their triumph in front of supporters at the opposite end of the field.

While Sancho is waiting to discover what the summer has in store for him, the same is true for Antony. He has been linked with clubs across Europe - including Atletico Madrid and Juventus - after impressing during a nine-goal stint in Andalusia.
