WHAT HAPPENED?
According to The Telegraph, Chalobah and Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix are of interest to Palace - with the latter previously working under Eagles head coach Oliver Glasner. The report adds the former France Under-20 international is in the last year of his contract, while Chalobah may be available for approximately £25 million ($31.7m).
According to the report, Chalobah will continue to train away from Chelsea's first-team squad with the club's youngsters following their return from America. The 25-year-old Blues academy product turned down a move to Nottingham Forest last year and still has four more years left on his Stamford Bridge contract.

WHAT NEXT?
With the Premier League season getting underway in less than two weeks' time, if Chalobah does leave Chelsea, he will want to make a move as soon as possible - particularly with the summer transfer window shutting on August 30.
