    THE BIGGER PICTURE

With renewal talks between Milan and Hernandez stalling, the club have opted to put the left-back up for sale to ensure they do not lose him for free when his contract expires in the summer of 2026. Al-Hilal, who are moving aggressively in the market, were alert to his situation and decided to swoop in with an offer. However, he is inclined to turn down the offer, with Nicolo Schira reporting that he is open to returning to his former team Atletico.
