  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The midfielder has not featured for City since September 2024 after he ruptured his ACL during a Premier League clash against Arsenal. Since then he has undergone surgery and is following an extensive rehabilitation plan at the moment. Amid his recovery, Manchester Evening News reports that the Spaniard has travelled with the Cityzens' squad to the French capital for their upcoming Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Rodri, however, has not been named in the club's 21-member travelling squad as the MEN report claims that he is working on his recovery and is still a long way from playing a match. The Ballon d'Or winner, though, is eyeing an early comeback and hopes to feature for the English champions towards the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
