'Put me down bro!' - USMNT star Christian Pulisic shares ‘surfing’ joke with AC Milan team-mate Rafael Leao after scoring fine goal in Europa League victory over Slavia Prague

United States international Pulisic was on target for the 11th time this season when hitting the net in the second leg of a Europa League last-16 encounter with Czech opposition. He has now matched his personal best return on the goal front, with the plan being to raise that bar considerably before the 2023-24 campaign is out.

Pulisic put Milan on their way against Slavia, as he opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and all but wrapped up an aggregate success, and his team-mates were quickly on hand to help him mark that achievement.

Portugal international Leao threatened to take things a little too far at one stage, as he hauled Pulisic off the ground, leading the USMNT star – who was taking in a form of air surfing - to post on social media: “Put me down bro.”

Milan have now learned that their next opponents in continental competition will be domestic rivals, with Serie A foes Roma having to be overcome in the Europa League quarter-finals in order to keep collective dreams of major silverware alive.
