Rayados is experiencing tense moments after it was confirmed that during Thursday's training session, Monterrey midfielder Sergio Canales and coach Martín Demichelis had a heated argument at the end of practice. The Argentine coach criticized the team's star for his lack of movement and tactical aspects.
Sources reported that the former Real Madrid player took off his training bib and walked away, kicking and breaking a glass door, which resulted in a leg injury. The club later confirmed his injury.
After training, Demichelis acknowledged the argument but downplayed the incident:
"You can give it whatever title you want. We allow players to express their opinions, and in every team, every sport, every locker room, there are always exchanges of views. I like to give my opinion, and I like players to share theirs so we can reach the best conclusions and grow… I respect all opinions," he said.
