Mohamed Salah is unstoppable! Liverpool star hits another impressive century after inspiring vital win at Southampton for Premier League title hopefuls

With Liverpool 2-1 down after 56 minutes, the Egyptian international scored twice in the final half hour to secure Arne Slot's team a huge 3-2 victory at St Mary's on Sunday. Incidentally, that brought up the 32-year-old's 100th goal away from Anfield.

Liverpool's win over lowly Southampton took them eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League title race. The Reds still have 26 games to go but this was a seismic three points for Slot's team, especially as they were a long way off their best. And once again, they had their talisman Salah to thank for this victory.

Since Salah swapped Roma for Liverpool in 2017, the former Chelsea man has scored a whopping 221 goals and bagged 99 assists in 366 appearances for the Merseyside outfit. The winger may add quite a few more goals and assists before the season is over, too.

Salah will hope to be in the goals once again when his Liverpool side, who are unbeaten in this season's Champions League, take on defending champions Real Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday night.
