But manager Erik ten Hag, who spearheaded the approach having managed him in the Netherlands, is yet to get the best out of him. With no goals or assists in 20 league games Antony has gone down as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/antony-biggest-waste-money-premier-league-history-man-utd-cut-losses-85m-flop/bltdfdca9e4c1f5027c" target="_blank">one of the worst signings in Premier League history</a>. That decision will reportedly be made as part of a summer of change at the club, when minority shareholder <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/revealed-sir-jim-ratcliffe-transfer-recruitment-plan-man-utd-fulham-defeat/bltf9ef08290291b609" target="_blank">Sir Jim Ratcliffe takes over footballing operations</a> and drives the approach for the coming transfer window. The British billionaire is expected to scrutinise the effectiveness of United's squad - <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-antony-jadon-sancho-most-expensive-squad-ever-uefa-report-real-madrid/blt0501ecf5598b020a" target="_blank">which was recently revealed to be the most expensive in football history</a> - with Antony one of many to face the chopping block.
