After a disappointing 2024-25 campaign, City are looking forward to the summer transfer window, where they plan to make several signings in a bid to revamp their roster. The Telegraph reports that the former English champions are eyeing a move for Milan's Reijnders and will submit a formal bid once the window opens.

The report adds that AC Milan are planning to cash in on the player and expect the Dutchman to break the club's previous transfer record, which was set by Brazil icon Kaka when he fetched the club £57 million ($70m) when he moved to Real Madrid in 2009.

The Dutch central midfielder has enjoyed a stellar season with the Rossoneri as he has appeared in 55 matches across all competitions, where he has scored 15 goals and provided five assists.

Guardiola's men are now aiming to end their season on a high with a trophy as they next face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final on Saturday at Wembley.
