WHAT HAPPENED?
Aston Villa star Daly announced her shock retirement from England duty in April, leading to a deluge of support from well-wishers. Chelsea defender and Daly were close friends and regularly posed for photos together. Following the Lionesses latest England camp, a double-header against France, the Blues centre-back pretended the 32-year-old was by her side in an amusing picture.

Alongside a multitude of photos, including one where she pretended Daly was beside her at St James' Park, she wrote on Instagram: "Life recently 📸 🦋🩵."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bright ended her domestic season on a high as Chelsea secured a dramatic Women's Super League title at Manchester City's expense, in Emma Hayes' final season in charge as manager. The 30-year-old will focus on England duty and life after Hayes at Chelsea, whereas Daly will prioritise her club career going forward.
