Per Relevo, Miami are set to push for Nacho this summer as a replacement for the recently injured Nicolas Freire. The Argentine defender tore his ACL and is out for the remainder of the season, and now, the Herons are in search of a high-profile replacement.

The report adds that Miami will be able to express versatility when it comes to adding Nacho to their ranks this summer. He is available as a TAM player, with a salary of $1.5m - under the threshold. They also have the ability to make him a DP by buying down the contract of Leonardo Campana, if needed.

Nacho's family is reportedly in favor of the move, as well, with the climate of Miami factoring into the decision.

Nacho would be the fifth ex-La Liga player with the Herons, joining Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez in South Beach.

The Los Blancos captain will lead Real Madrid into the UEFA Champions League Final on June 1 as he looks to lift one more piece of silverware with his longtime club.
