Klopp told Liverpool fans that booing Trent was wrong
Alexander-Arnold's departure announcement did not go down well with Liverpool fans. The England international, who is close to a move to Real Madrid as a free agent this summer, was heavily booed when he came on as a substitute during the Merseyside club's 2-2 draw with Arsenal earlier this month.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Legendary former Reds boss Klopp has now weighed in on the fans' treatment of Alexander-Arnold. He claimed that the supporters were 'wrong' to jeer at a player who spent his entire career at the Merseyside club, revealing he turned off his TV when he heard the boos at Anfield.
WHAT JURGEN KLOPP SAID
Speaking at a fundraising event for the LFC Foundation, the German coach said: "I don't want to tell you what you have to think. I can tell you what you think is wrong. I don't tell you you should not be angry, you should not be disappointed, I tell you don't forget. This club doesn't forget. I watched the game when he came on and I heard the booing. I switched the telly [television] off. Honestly, I could not have been more disappointed at this moment."
