Jesse Lingard's off the mark! Ex-Man Utd forward dances in front of fans after scoring his first goal of K League 1 season to inspire FC Seoul to narrow win over FC Anyang

Lingard is in his second season at the South Korean club and opened his account for the campaign in just their second league game, grabbing the first goal of the 2-1 win. The former England international chipped the goalkeeper to score just after half-time and celebrated with his customary dance in front of the home fans.

Lingard was named FC Seoul captain ahead of the new season, a mark of how he has settled in at the club. The 32-year-old spoke recently about how he feels at home in South Korea and can feel the confidence returning to his game.

Lingard told The Independent: "I didn't know what to expect but seeing the love and appreciation really settled me down and got my confidence up. I started getting a couple of assists, a couple of goals. When people ask for pictures, I always try. When you finish your career, and you’re not getting the applause you’re used to, it can really hit you. I feel like just enjoying every moment."

FC Seoul return to action next Monday, when they host Gimcheon Sangmu in K League 1.
