The Premier League giants are preparing to get their FIFA Club World Cup campaign underway. Pep Guardiola’s side will have a few days acclimatising to conditions in the United States before facing Wydad AC on Wednesday.

Norwegian frontman Haaland, on the back of a 2024-25 campaign that delivered another 31 goals, is set to figure prominently for City as they attempt to make history by becoming the first team to win the expanded 32-team Club World Cup crown.
While Haaland has an important role to play in Guardiola’s plans, England international Grealish has been left at home. The 29-year-old playmaker was omitted from the City squad that has more major silverware in its sights.
