Harry Kane set for another Tottenham reunion! Bayern Munich confirm Spurs will visit Allianz Arena for friendly prior to 2025-26 season

The German giants, who have allowed star striker Kane to break his trophy curse in 2025 with a Bundesliga title triumph, will play host to Premier League heavyweights from north London on August 7.

Spurs will travel to the Allianz Arena for the 2025 Telekom Cup, meaning that more silverware will be on the line - albeit minor honours on this occasion - when Kane locks horn with some familiar foes.

Kane has already faced Tottenham as a Bayern player, with a friendly contest taking place in England during the summer of 2024. He was on the winning side that day, with goals from Dayot Upamecano, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller seeing Bayern to a 3-2 victory.

Eric Dier has left Spurs for Bavaria since then - before moving on to Monaco in 2025 - while Mathys Tel is currently on loan at Tottenham from the Allianz Arena and could yet make his move to N17 permanent. Kane has plundered 81 goals for Bayern after leaving England as Spurs’ all-time leading scorer.

Tottenham will hope to face Bayern as holders of the Europa League, as they prepare to face domestic rivals Manchester United in a continental showpiece that sees major silverware and Champions League come up for grabs on May 21.
