    WHAT HAPPENED?

Long-time Bayern sponsor, Paulaner, provide the drink for Bayern's celebrations. Their beer is brought out to the centre circle in XXL glasses, by traditionally dressed women - nicknamed Paulas - for the players to douse each in the amber liquid. BILD claim they are ready for the possibility of Saturday ending in glory and Kane clinching his first-ever trophy, with a 'boozy shower party' on the agenda.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane has not commented on the upcoming celebrations, but his boss has. Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany was asked about his thoughts on the traditional beer shower celebrations that have accompanied Bayern's other Bundesliga title wins. Kompany was stoic in response, saying he wouldn't look past the job in hand against an impressive Mainz. Should Leverkusen lose to Augsburg and Bayern beat Mainz, the title will return to Bavaria on Saturday afternoon.

  • WHAT KOMPANY SAID

Kompany said: "I've only been preparing for the match against Mainz. The only thing that matters to me is the game itself and what happens in those 90 minutes."

On the prospect of his first beer shower: "All those scenarios aren't in my head yet."

    WHAT NEXT FOR BAYERN?

If the title isn't sewn up on Saturday, Bayern still have three more game weeks to secure their 34th Bundesliga title, with both Kane and Kompany on the cusp of their first silverware in Bavaria.
