VIDEO: Getafe fans battle for Mason Greenwood's shirt despite Man Utd loanee missing penalty in defeat to nine-men Athletic Club

In a disappointing loss for Jose Bordalas' men at Coliseum Alfonso Perez to nine-man Athletic Club, Greenwood took a woeful penalty late on to cement their fate. Despite the disheartening miss, Getafe fans showed that their love for the 22-year-old forward has not diminished as supporters were spotted fighting for his jersey as the Manchester United loanee headed down the tunnel at full-time.

Greenwood has been enjoying his loan spell with Getafe, scoring eight goals and picking up six assists in La Liga, although he couldn't add to his tally on Saturday. Yet the forward could be set to stay with the Liga side for another campaign. Manchester United are in talks with Getafe over a second loan spell for the forward.

The Man Utd loanee will return to action with Getafe when Los Azulones take on Cadiz on Sunday, May 12, afternoon as they look to return to winning ways with the end of the season drawing ever closer.
