United drew 1-1 with FC Twente in midweek in another disappointing result at the start of the season. The club won just two of their first five league games, against Fulham and Southampton, and were held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace in their most recent domestic outing.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
United are subsequently languishing in 11th ahead of this weekend's clash with Spurs, who are one place above them in the standings. And Ten Hag believes that their main issue is simply putting the ball in the back of the net with regularity.
WHAT TEN HAG SAID
Ten Hag told reporters: "Not scoring goals. That is the problem, the key area is to score more goals as a team.
"We have players across the team who have the ability to score, that is clear, you see all the opportunities we are creating but we are not scoring enough."
