Doorbell ding-dong for Kyle Walker & Lauryn Goodman at £2.4m mansion as woes pile up for Man City defender amid divorce speculation & long-running battle with former mistress

The England international fathered two children with former Love Island star Goodman. She remains a prominent part of his life as a result, which has led to serious questions being asked of Walker’s marriage to long-time partner Annie Kilner.

Divorce proceedings are said to have been set in motion, as Walker pays the price for “idiot choices” off the pitch, while Premier League champions City have endured an uncharacteristic slump on the field that has delivered five successive defeats – the worst run of Pep Guardiola’s managerial career.

Things are not getting any easier for Walker, whose form is being called into question, with The Sun claiming that he is facing another battle with Goodman. She has reportedly requested that the security system at her £2.4 million Sussex mansion be repaired after breaking down – with Walker having previously agreed to help maintain that property.

Goodman is said to have been offered a Ring Doorbell, rather than the Control4 system that provides her with CCTV coverage and remote access to the gates on her driveway, with another argument brewing. A source has told The Sun: “The system kept failing, which worried her. She felt quite vulnerable. They are a top footballer’s kids living there and security is essential. So she got in touch with Kyle’s property manager and asked if they could have it fixed. They told her no and instead offered a Ring Doorbell system, which doesn’t have nearly the same level of security and won’t open the gate. She’s angry.”

The source went on to say: “As per the court order all housing issues are made directly to what is essentially the temporary landlord who deals with requests from Lauryn. Should Lauryn have any issues she knows to ask the landlord to raise it with Kyle should they not be able to come to an agreement. Kyle is completely unaware of any issues Lauryn has with the property and would urge her to follow the procedures put in place by the court which protect her and the children.”

Walker has seen a move to Saudi Arabia speculated on, as he considers joining the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East, and the 34-year-old may decide that a fresh start would be the perfect way to escape his troubles.
