Cristiano Ronaldo takes in spectacular fireworks show with partner Georgina Rodriguez after getting suited and booted for New Year's Eve party in Portugal

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is now playing his club football in Saudi Arabia for Al-Nassr, but he made a point of heading home in order to welcome in 2024. He was joined by long-time partner Georgina, with the pair getting dressed up for a memorable night out.

Ronaldo enjoyed a productive 2023 – which started with him moving to the Middle East following his release by Manchester United. He hit 54 goals for club and country across 12 impressive months – with nobody in world football able to match that return.

The 38-year-old is showing no sign of slowing down, as he continues to perform at an elite level, and is expected to have several more years left in him yet. Ronaldo has always prided himself on being in complete control of his personal and professional lives – with 2024 shaping up to be no different.

Family time has taken on greater importance down the years, as he now has five children, but he will forever find a way of performing at his best on the field and will be hoping to land more major honours in 2024 – a year that will also see him reunited with Lionel Messi during a friendly date against Inter Miami.
