WHAT HAPPENED?
The England Under-21 international was listed as one of the seven players Chelsea are prepared to offload next month. However, Chelsea have no intention of letting the 21-year-old leave,The Athletic reports, as the Blues do not want to lose any first-team members between now and the summer window.
Madueke joined the Blues from PSV in January but has struggled for playing time. He made 12 Premier League appearances in the second half of last season, starting seven and scoring one goal. This season, he has started only two of the eight games in which he has featured.

WHAT NEXT FOR MADUEKE?
Madueke had been absent from the Chelsea squad in recent weeks because of an injury but the club announced this week that he is back in training, suggesting he could feature when they meet Newcastle in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
