Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta teams up with FedEx to deliver UEFA Champions League trophy to Munich for Walk of Champions parade

The 2010 World Cup winner led the parade with the iconic trophy in Olympiapark München, while being accompanied by a FedEx courier and renowned German brass band, Knallblech. They were front and centre in the Walk of Champions, which included International Football Club of Bern, DFI Football Academy, and UEFA Foundation for Children’s, SCORING GIRLS*.

The Barcelona icon said: "It’s been an incredible experience to be a part of the FedEx UEFA Champions League Trophy Delivery this season. I’ve felt honoured to be able to deliver success in all the communities we’ve visited, and to bring everybody together for a celebration of the Trophy delivery has been incredible. I will remember this experience for a long time and hope it can inspire the communities to deliver success in the future."

Iniesta, who accompanied FedEx in collecting the UEFA Champions League trophy from UEFA headquarters in Switzerland last week, is a footballing legend and has won the Champions League on four occasions. It is, therefore, fitting that the ex-Spain international was given this honour at the UEFA Champions’ Festival, which also featured charities, organisations, and local FedEx employees and their families. He will be one of many eagerly awaiting to see who comes out on top in the 2025 final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan this weekend.

Now, all eyes will be on who will come out on top between PSG and Inter at Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena on Saturday night. Before then, the famous trophy will make its way from Olympiapark München to the stadium where this showpiece event will be played out.
