  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    United have formally sealed the transfer for the 18-year-old centre-back after he rejected a new deal at Arsenal. The youngster underwent medical on Saturday before completing his move to Old Trafford. He has been straightaway included in Ruben Amorim's first-team. Fabrizio Romano had earlier reported that Heaven had an offer from Eintracht Frankfurt, but he chose to join the Red Devils.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Heaven has featured in the Gunners' matchday squad in three Premier League matches in the 2024-25 campaign and made his senior debut for the club in a Carabao Cup clash against Colchester United in November last year. He has also represented England's U18 and U19 teams at youth level.

    After signing the dotted lines, the youngster told the club's official website: "I am incredibly proud to join Manchester United. I’m grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality. There is so much that I want to achieve in the game, I’ll be giving everything to continue my development and become the best player that I can be."
