The Las Vegas Raiders opened their preseason slate with a 23-23 draw at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks, rallying back from a 10-point deficit in the final quarter. Statistically, Las Vegas had the edge, racking up 392 total yards to Seattle’s 368.

Geno Smith guided the opening series for the Seahawks, connecting on just one of his three attempts before exiting. For the Raiders, Aidan O’Connell logged the bulk of the snaps, finishing 18-of-30 for 205 yards with a touchdown and two picks, while Cam Miller provided a spark late, hitting on 6-of-7 passes for 76 yards and a score.

The Arizona Cardinals, meanwhile, kicked off their preseason at home with a 20-17 win over the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Despite committing more turnovers (three giveaways to Kansas City’s two), Arizona controlled the flow of play, outgaining the Chiefs 355-249 in total yardage.

The Cardinals leaned on their ground game, piling up 140 yards on 35 carries, and got a big boost from Emari Demercado, who hauled in two catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Both Kyler Murray and Clayton Tune tossed interceptions, but veteran Jacoby Brissett steadied the offense, delivering two touchdown passes to seal the victory.
