    You can't have a top five players to watch out for in the 2024 Women's NCAA basketball March Madness without mentioning Caitlin Clark. She is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in college basketball right now and has been important in changing the way how people view the sport at this level.

    She's broken two major records already, as she surpassed the Washington Huskies - Kelsey Plum's 3,527 point record. Most recently, she broke Pete Maravich's all-time NCAA basketball points record.

    Team: South Carolina Trojans

    JuJu Watkins was one of the underdogs during the 2023-24 season but has been a major asset for the Trojans. She particularly showed her prowess when she broke the USC freshman record by scoring 51 points against Stanford.

    She's already won the Pac-12 Freshman on the Year award - becoming only the sith USC women's basketball player to win the award. Blazing a trail for young girls and women who want to play basketball, we love to see it.
