    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane got his hands on a long-awaited trophy as wild celebrations were sparked in Bavaria after a 2-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach. Every effort was made to put the prolific frontman front and centre on a huge day in his career.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

The beer flowed in Munich - much of it over the heads of Bayern players and coaches - but there was to be no dampening Kane’s spirits. He now has a taste of what it is like to collect a winners’ medal.

  • WHAT HARRY KANE SAID

Speaking on his Cleats Club channel, he said of hoisting the Bundesliga title aloft: “It’s actually heavier than I thought it was going to be. I don’t know how much it weighs. Especially when it got wet with the beer, it was hard to grip hold of. It felt good. It felt like it had been earned. To lift that was an amazing feeling.”

  • TELL ME MORE

Kane added on another party that extended well into the Munich evening: “The celebrations have been really good. It was an amazing night - to have all my family there after and to celebrate with everyone on the pitch. We’ve had a long, hard season and this is the reward we get.”
